Overview:
The Poseidon team are hard-bodied, fiercely competitive navy SEALs. But when a sensitive mission goes disastrously wrong, three of the team's finest will have to trust their hearts and instincts to uncover the truth…
"No man left behind" is inscribed in the DNA of every SEAL and Lieutenant Diego Torres is no exception. But with a team member killed—and the body missing—Diego's honor is sorely tested. Now his career and reputation are on the line, and a traitor is hiding among them. Diego wants answers…and only one woman has them.
Single mom Harper Maclean has two priorities—raising her son Nathan and starting a new life. Her mysterious new neighbor may be impossibly charming, but Diego asks too many questions about her past—and about the father of her child. Questions she fears will reveal her burning attraction for Diego, and ultimately put them all in danger's path.

Read an excerpt courtesy Tawny Weber:

Harper stepped through the iron fence and froze.
The new neighbor was in his backyard. Barefoot and shirtless, he wore what looked like black pajama bottoms. He simply flowed across the moon-drenched lawn. Kicks, turns, chops and punches flowed in a seamlessly elegant dance.
Was that martial arts he was doing??Shirtless.?She couldn’t quite get past that one particular point.?It was too delicious.?But instead of licking her lips, Harper clenched her fists tight at her side.?Why the hell was a man who looked like that living next door to her? More to the point, why did her libido choose now to wake up? Was it some cosmic joke that she’d remember now, despite her claims to the contrary, she was a sexually aware woman who had needs and desires?
Harper watched him do some sort of flip, feet in the air and his body resting on one hand. Muscles rippled, but he wasn’t even breathing hard as he executed an elegant somersault to land, feet first on the grass, knees low and arms extended.
Wow.
She’d bet all of her needs and desires could be handled quite nicely by her gorgeous, and quite physically impressive, new neighbor.
Harper would have growled if she weren’t worried the guy would notice the slightest sound and turn around. The last thing she wanted while she was going through this personal crisis was attention.
She wanted to blame Andi. Oh, not for the new neighbor. Arranging for good-looking neighbors wasn’t one of Andi’s oft-bragged about skills. But putting the idea of sex and lust and, yes, dammit, craving, into Harper’s mind so her imagination ran wild when she looked at the new neighbor? That was totally and completely Andi’s fault.
Her stomach tightened with an edgy need she recognized as desire as the guy did a series of kicks, each one higher than the other with the last aimed straight overhead.
Again, wow.
He had tattoos.
A cross riding low on his hip and something tribal circling one bicep.
Who knew tattoos were so sexy?
Harper’s mouth went dry. Her libido, eight years in deep freeze, exploded into lusty flames so hot they scorched away all her spit. She couldn’t swallow, could barely breathe. She had to try twice to clear the tight knot of lust in her throat.
Wow, she thought for the third time.?Because some things definitely deserved repeating. The man was incredible.?Gorgeous. She was pretty sure he was gorgeous. It was hard to tell, though, because her head was spinning.
He looked like some kind of pagan god—the ones who liked to deflower virgins—with that commanding air, impressive body and golden skin stretched over well-toned muscles.
Short black hair that spiked here and there over a face made for appreciative sighs. Sharp cheekbones rose high, accenting full lips. Thick brows arched over deep-set eyes, and he had a scar on his chin that glowed in the moonlight.
She heard herself gulp before she realized she’d done it.
Wondering where her spit had gone, Harper decided that she’d better get the hell out of there. Before he saw her. Before she did something to make sure he saw her.

HI Tawny, welcome to The Reading Frenzy.
Tell my readers about Call to Honor
Hi and thanks so much for having me at The Reading Frenzy.  I’m happy to share CALL TO HONOR with you and your readers.  This story is the first in my SEAL Brotherhood series.  I’m so excited about these stories.  Not only do they feature one of my favorite things to write about—hot, sexy heroes! But these are bigger, deeper and more emotionally intense books than my earlier Sexy SEAL stories (albeit just as sexy.  Okay, maybe a little sexier.).
CALL TO HONOR kicks off the series with an incident that not only puts the SEAL team in the crosshairs, but puts mission leader Lt. Diego Torres in danger of losing the one thing that has mattered most to him—his career.  Diego has to take on a special mission that is at odds with anything he’s ever done before in order to flush out a traitor and save his reputation and his team.   This particular mission involves a sexy blonde who inspires many a fantasy, and a child who touches his heart. Both of which ostensibly belong to the traitor Diego is assigned to find.
At first, Diego things the biggest danger on this mission is falling in love with Harper, but when her son is kidnapped, he realizes that his heart is in danger on multiple levels.  In the end, he has to choose his priorities.  His honor, or his heart.
This is a Seal Brotherhood novel.
How are they related and does the series need to be read in order?
The SEAL Brotherhood series begins with three novels and a prequel novella.   CALL TO HONOR, CALL TO ENGAGE and CALL TO REDEMPTION all follow the aftermath of one particular mission gone wrong and the Brotherhood’s mission to apprehend a traitor.  The prequel, NIGHT MANEUVERS, takes place a few months prior to that mission and introduces readers to how Team Poseidon and explains how the SEAL Brotherhood began.  These stories are better read in order.
Tawny, take me back to the start of your career and tell me what about you as an author has changed from then until now.
Wow.  It’s hard to believe that it’s been 10 years since my first book was published.  That was an awesome dream-come-true for me, and getting that call from my editor is still one of my favorite memories.  May of 2007 saw my very first Harlequin Blaze, DOUBLE DARE, hit the shelves.   In the last decade I’ve had 40 books published, almost half of those featuring SEAL heroes.  It’s been amazing to be able to share the stories in my imaginations with readers and know that people enjoy them enough to still want more.
So much has changed in the publishing over the last decade.  The process of writing has become a lot more complicated, and the demands more intense.   When I started, authors really weren’t involved much in the marketing of the books, but now it’s an essential demand that can often take as much time and energy as writing the book itself.   One thing that hasn’t changed is how satisfying it is to write these books and to share the message of happy ever after and my belief in the strength and power that falling in love gives us.
So you just found out you’re a NYT bestseller.
What was your reaction?
I think I cried.  I know I jumped up and down and screamed a lot.   Then I went out for ice cream with my kids.  I know, I’m such a wild woman.
Tawny you’re sort of like one of your heroines, married to a military man etc.
First thank him for his service and yours as a military wife too.
Do you think having “walked the walk” gives your novels a certain realism?
Thank you so much!  I’ve passed your appreciation on to my husband and he thanks you, too.  I’m not sure how much realism my own experiences offer to my stories, but I do my best to make them as strong and true as I can.  Sometimes my experience doesn’t work well, especially when I first began writing the Sexy SEAL books, since my husband served in the Army and I’m writing about Navy heroes.  As similar as a lot of elements of the military are, there are definite differences and I had to unlearn a lot to get the stories right.
You are a very connected author and even run a blog.
How important is connecting to your fan base?
Readers are the reason I write, and I do try to connect with them as much as I can.  So many of them are women just like me, ones who love a good love story and appreciate a sexy hero.  It’s fun to talk about what we enjoy about books and about life, and it’s always amazing to hear someone say they like my stories.  I hope it means as much to the readers to have that connection as it does to me.
Tawny what do you love the most about HQN’s Blaze series line?
OMG I love so many things about Blaze.  So many of my favorite authors wrote for this line, so it was one I loved long before I sold my first book to them.  It was my beginning, and writing for this line has been such an empowering experience.  The books feature hot, sexy guys, of course. But the heroines are strong and know what they want out of life, which is always inspiring.   I learned a lot about myself, and about how to write a good story, with Blaze.
The New Year has just begun.
Do you make or break resolutions?
I’m actually a goal junkie, so I skip the whole resolution thing.  Instead, I set yearly goals that I break into monthly steps, and revisit in the spring and fall in case things need revised.  I have set goals aside, and there are a few that I missed the initial deadline for so am still chasing, but I’ve learned over the years not to give up on the things I want… so yes, I will get back on that elliptical machine and lift those weights and lose that winter weight (again).
Tawny thanks so much for taking the time to answer my questions.
Good luck with the new release!
Thank you so much for asking, and for generously sharing my story with your readers.  I really hope that they enjoy CALL TO HONOR and
will check out the rest of my books.
