Guarding His Fortune
The Texas Fortunes: The Lost Fortunes

It’s always magic when Stella Bagwell writes a story and her installment of The Fortunes of Texas series Guarding His Fortune is a prime example. Featuring two prolific families that are already connected at the hip this novel further connects the Fortune and Mendoza families with a heartwarming romance and mystery featuring a couple who on paper seem unlikely but in reality sparks will fly. The low angst romance and suspenseful high drama threat facing the Fortune family make for a delightful nail biting page turner where readers get to reconnect with both families while enjoying a well deserved HEA for Chaz and Savannah. Series may be read out of order.

Savannah Fortune does not need a bodyguard/babysitter following her around Austin while she’s there studying epidemiology but apparently her father is taking this so-called threat against all the Fortunes seriously and hired one anyway, a brawny, sexy as all get out one at that.

Chaz Mendoza is in trouble, because even though he knows all too well about rich society girls like Savannah he can’t miss the electricity he feels when he’s near her and the fact that she doesn’t really fit the mold of shallow and spoiled shouldn’t faze him because she’s his job. But he’s really going to need divine intervention to keep his distance.
