 Those of you who know me know I love historical fiction and know that my favorite author is this genre is Genevieve Graham who always tells a bit of Canadian history in all of her incredible novels. Review The Forgotten Home Child Interview with author Genevieve Graham

Genevieve Graham is fast becoming one of my all time favorite authors. I love how she delves into Canadian history and brings it to life for her readers. This book, The Forgotten Home Child is about the tens of thousand of children either homeless or orphaned that England put on ships and sent to Canada some as young as six years old. Genevieve Graham writes historical novels that feature a pivotal point in Canadian history, her latest, At The Mountain's Edge, features both the Yukon Gold rush and the rockslide that almost wiped out the mining town of Frank, while highlighting the importance of the Canadian Mounted Police to keep the peace. If this is the way you enjoy learning history the novel should definitely be on your buy list.

Review: Come From Away by Genevieve Graham

Once in a while a novel really speaks to you and the author becomes an instant favorite. That is exactly what happened when I read Tides of Honour, the WWI tale and pseudo prequel to Come From Away set during WWII and staring the same family. I was very fortunate to be able to review Come From Away for RT Book Reviews Magazine and it is included in this post.

Review: Promises to Keep by Genevieve Graham

Genevieve Graham has quickly become an auto read for me.  I love how she brings a piece of Canadian history front and center in each of her novels and how her characters will embed themselves in readers/listeners hearts. I'm hoping she'll become a US household name because she is a fantastic storyteller.
This novel showcases a tumultuous time in Canadian history and a pivotal moment for the future of the Country.
