-Heart-

It comes from within,

so fragile,

so strong,

so breakable,

so ageless,

it comes from within,

its own rhythm,

its own beat,

it is capable,

of love,

hope,

pain,

joy,

anger,

and youth's energy,

it comes from within,

with the softest glows,

to the darkest abyss,

it is deep within,

the heart,

but it can still reach,

out across endless miles,

of land,

or sea,

it comes within,

it can be warm,

or cold,

it can be bitter,

or sweet,

hollow,

or bubbling,

it comes from within,

always felt,

never seen,

but it is always there,

with a steady beat,

as I for you.
