Interview with Zoe Archer - Wicked Temptation final novel in the Nemesis Unlimited trilogy

I interviewed Zoe for the first book, Sweet Revenge in her Nemesis Unlimited trilogy so it's fitting that I also interview her for book three, Wicked Temptation.

Tell us about #3 in your Nemesis Unlimited series, Wicked Temptation.

Nemesis, Unlimited is a secret organization dedicated to righting wrongs.  I basically call them “Leverage/old school A-Team in Victorian England.”  This time, they’re helping a young society widow help retrieve her lost fortune, which is a slightly unusual assignment for them, since they usually assist the lower classes in obtaining justice, but Bronwyn is much more than meets the eye, as Nemesis agent Marco learns.

In a few words why would you want Marco Black, your hero in this novel for your lover?

Marco is the consummate spy.  He’s diabolically clever, ruthless, and, beneath his rigidly controlled exterior, deeply sensual.  Nothing sexier than a smart man applying his brains to lovemaking!

In our last interview you said you had contracted for three books in the series.
Will there be more?

WICKED TEMPTATION will be the final book in the NEMESIS UNLIMITED series.  It’s been so fun to write!

Zoe I see from the homepage from your website you’re still sporting boots.
We talked a bit about this obsession passion for them in your last conversation with me.
How many pairs of boots do you own?

That’s a very good question!  I haven’t counted, and the prospect seems too daunting, which gives you something of an idea as to how many I have.

Zoe, what’s the one thing about all your heroines that impresses you the most?

Even if they don’t start out as kick-ass women, they grow into their strength, so that, by the time the book ends, they really can kick some serious butt.

Zoe you received a 4 ½ stars Top Pick from RT Reviews Magazine for Wicked Temptation. Congratulations! Editorial accolades are great but you told us in your last visit that it’s really your readers opinions that matter.
What’s the nicest thing a reader has ever said about one of your novels?

I can’t recall specifics, but I know I’m touched when a reader feels that my book really touched or spoke to them.  I was very proud of SKIES OF GOLD: The Ether Chronicles, because the heroine is missing a leg, and a nurse who deals with patients who have undergone radical changes in their bodies said I did a respectful and realistic depiction of what it’s like to experience this.

Do you have events listed on your website for fans?

I will be attending the Romance Writers of America’s National Conference in San Antonio in July.  It’s very exciting, because SKIES OF GOLD has been nominated by the RWA for a RITA.  It’s an honor to be nominated, and I’m looking forward to wearing a fancy dress and hanging out with my friends.
