Audio Review: Crave Me by Cecy Robson #3 in The O'Brien Family Series

Crave Me is my first romantic suspense novel by Cecy Robson, but it definitely won't be my last. Plu the narrator, Tara Langella for the audio format right now tops my all time best narrator for the year list.
Enjoy!

Overview:
Wren O'Brien isn't your typical female. As the only girl from a loud Irish family with seven siblings, she prefers fast cars to lip gloss and bad boys to good men. It's the reason she's nursing a wounded soul and keeping her distance from a dangerous ex.

Evan Jonah is running an empire and just moved from the lavish thoroughfares of London to the gritty streets of Philadelphia. When he walks into the nearest dealership, he's expecting to find a reliable vehicle to handle the brutal winters, not a sexy female car rep with killer legs.

Wren doesn't know why "Hotness in a Suit" asked her out. She doesn't expect a great time or a night of passion that knocks her on her ass, but that's exactly what Evan shows her.

She also never counted on how hard and fast she'd fall. But men like Evan - good men with even better hearts - don't desire tough-talking Philly girls for long.

Evan has never met a woman like Wren. But he's up for the challenge and ready to prove her wrong.

Cecy Talks about her hero Evan

My Review:

Crave Me- Audio Format
O’Brien Family series #3
Cecy Robson
Narrated by Tara Langella

STORY: 4
Robson’s Crave Me gripped from the first sentence of this fantastic romantic suspense staring the most unlikely of couples and didn’t let go until The End. From the filterless mouth of the real-deal heroine to the smooth British accent of the smooth talking super nerd hero Robson spins one heck of a story combing a love story that’s a mix of naughty and nice, sassy and sweet with both humor and angst and some combustible love scenes then adds an OMG edge of your seat suspenseful thriller. The pace is quick and the dialogue is a perfect mix of her Philly slang and his English proper that will bring laughs, sighs and a few gasps too. This is my first of the O’Brien clan’s tales but it definitely won’t be my last!

NARRATION: 5
Tara Langella’s narration is exceptional and the best way (in the opinion of this reviewer) to enjoy this novel. She can go from male to female and between the bold Philly accents of the O’Brien clan to the smooth seductive Brit speak of Evan seamlessly and with every emotion performed to perfection. But it’s the sassy, smack talking Wren that’s unforgettable and spot on!

Brash, trash talking Philly native Erin (Wren) O’Brien is the only girl in her loud family of six very protective brothers. So when she brings home a new man they’re all ready to run him out of town. She knows he’s something special but with a dark cloud from her past hanging over her she can’t really give him or her what she wants.
UK transplant Evan Jonah has only one thing on his mind, to get his floundering tech company solvent. Which means he needs to keep his entire focus on his work. That is until he meets the most intriguing genuine woman with a potty mouth and a heart of gold. Can’t he have both a successful company and a sexy woman too?

  2. This was my favorite O'Brien siblings book. I knew Wren's story would be fun after encountering her in the earlier stories. Glad you loved it. I do like the sample of Tara's narration.
