Goodbye to 2018
Saying goodbye to 2018 is bittersweet for me, there have
been many ups and downs and some tragic losses both personal and people in the
news. My husband continues to struggle with his health issues but we also feel blessed
and thankful for all that we do have. I look forward to the new slate
feeling the new year brings and there are several things to be excited about in 2019 a banner year for me, I’ll be turning 65 and I will also be married 40
years and to celebrate those milestones my daughter and son-in-law are taking my
husband and I to Florida in May.
Whether you will be sorry to see this year end or can’t wait for that iconic ball to drop my wish for all of you is a safe and Happy New Year that brings good things to you and yours.

Hello to 2019
A very Happy New Year Debbie, I hope there will be good things like the trip to Florida and if as always tough things happen then the love and support is surrounding you. Happy reading this year!
ReplyDeleteThank you Kathryn its always the love, right?
DeleteI hope your husband's health improves.
ReplyDeleteAnd wow what a milestone. 40 years married!
Thanks Blodeuedd but his health will only get worse, he has Parkinson's disease plus a number of other health issues. It's why I had to quit my job over three years ago to take care of him. Yes 40 years for us and I'm his second wife! :)

DeleteHappy New Year, Debbie! How exciting on the trip. Sounds like a great way to celebrate :)
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to it Anna, we may have to sedate the Mr. though LOL
DeleteSorry to hear about your husband's health issues. Those are never fun, no matter how big or small. I've had quite a few myself lately, but nothing that isn't livable. I'm getting better, so I can't complain. Here's to a great new year.
