Review Dark Survivor trilogy by I. T. Lucas Awakened-Echoes of Love - Reunited

A girlfriend turned me onto the paranormal romance series, Children of the Gods by I.T. Lucas a while ago and I've never looked back. Her world building and storytelling are first rate and this series is seriously addictive.
The Dark Survivor trilogy are books 20-21 and 22 in the series
Enjoy!

My Review:

Dark Survivor- The Children of the Gods
Awakened #20
Echoes of Love #21
Reunited #22

Series Summary:
From the beginning of time there have been near immortal beings who have molded humanity, been the object of worship but who as a race almost destroyed each other and human civilization.
Now only two Gods are left both sworn enemies:
The followers of Morta, the Doomers and the descendants of the Goddess Annani.

The Dark Suvivor trio is the story of Wonder and Anundur the first book like always is introducing the readers to the characters especially Wonder as all fans are very familiar with Anundur. Book two brings Wonder in the clan fold and book three finishes the story and gives fans a couple OMG didn’t see that coming minutes. There is also a side story going on featuring Nick a potential dormant immortal and Ruth an immortal female.
I. T. Lucas keeps things interesting by how she hides these immense immortals in plain site and how the immortal clan is always looking for ways to hide in this age of super technology. It’s always fun to keep up with her previous stars and seeing how the new village is coming along as well as hints of future stories.

Wonder has awakened in Egypt from a coma and doesn’t know who she is or how she got there, she only has vague dreams about Gods and Goddesses and takes the name Wonder when a small girl compares her to Wonder Woman. She manages to get herself on board a ship bound for the US by befriending a woman passenger. She knows she’s different and when working as a bartender at a nightclub witnesses what she thinks is an attempted murder she quickly learns that she’s not the only one like her.
Anundur is a millennium old clan Guardian whose spent his whole life taking care of his brother but ever since Brundar’s healing because of finding his mate Anundur is kind of a loose wheel. When looking for Doomers at a nightclub Anundur is captured in a surprise attack by a gorgeous immortal female. He’s willing to play victim until he gains her trust so he can take her to the clan and get rid of the Doomers she’s got him locked up with.

About the author:I.T. Lucas is the bestselling, top 10 Kindle All-Star author of the Children of the Gods & Perfect Match series. In addition to action, mystery, and sizzling romance, her stories blend paranormal elements with mythology, ancient civilizations, alternative history, and contemporary science. Her idea of bliss is relaxing with a great cup of coffee while letting imagination carry her away into the worlds for her stories.

    1. It's really amazing Sophia Rose she reminds me of JR Ward where just when you think you've got it figured out she changes things up and keeps readers on their toes. LOL

  2. So are these mini series within an overall series Debbie?

    1. It's not really a mini-series she writes each trilogy or in some cases 4 full length novels per one love story and in that contains a side story and the continuing series but I would still recommend reading the entire series in order to keep up with her changing world building. I like it because I'm not a fan of 1000 page books but it does make it hard to review on places like GR or Amazon so I just put a teaser in the first two review spots and the full review at the final book.

  3. Thanks for explaining what these are to Kim, I was kind of confused too LOL! These do sound fun though and nice when you want a series without them being super long. I think I will look these up!
