Overview:

A fortune cookie changes everything in New York Times bestselling author Christine Rimmer's latest book in the Wild Rose Sisters series!

“Do it now…”

And change everything!

By the book success story Alexandra Herrera’s got it all mapped out: partner at a law firm, high-powered career. But when her birth father leaves her an unexpected inheritance—prompted by a random fortune cookie—she impulsively walks away from her entire life! And now that she’s snowed in with West Wright, she learns that lightning really can strike twice. So much, in fact, that the sparks between them could melt any ice storm…if only they’d let them!

My review:

The Christmas Cottage
Wild Rose Sisters #3
Christine Rimmer

If you’re looking for something to put you in the holiday spirit look no farther than the finale in Christine Rimmer’s Wild Rose Sisters trilogy, The Christmas Cottage where love is the centerpiece of this Christmas season and Alex Herrera and Weston Wright may not be looking for it, but it does manage to stalk them into submission!

West Wright hasn’t seen Alex since their secret fling and he doesn’t know how he’s going to keep his hands off her while they’re sharing her cottage for Christmas. But he’ll respect her wishes of one time only if it kills him and it just might.

Thanks to an unexpected inheritance and a fortune cookie Alex Herrera upended her very carefully, up til now, planned life. Walked out on her job and decides to make this Christmas at her cottage at Wild Rose Farm a very special one especially when her sister’s handsome brother-in-law who she shares a delicious secret with is going to be staying in the guest bedroom at her cottage. Maybe she can convince him to turn a one-night stand into a Christmas fling.

Readers get a heartwarming holiday love story complete with big family drama a couple who are both unforgettable and relatable and both big time relationship phobics, plus kids and dogs and catch ups with past series characters. If you love Christmas romances you will find this one absolutely unputdownable!
