Overview:
How can you imagine forever with someone who's leaving everything behind?

Callahan, a former army sniper, wants to make an escape from his past and everything he experienced at war, but most of all, just not feel. Feeling leads to pain and he’s suffered enough. When he inherits a house on South Carolina’s Kiawah Island, he packs his bags, lured by the peace and seclusion he thinks it will bring. But, Callahan never counted on meeting anyone like Trinity . . .

Trinity has always been the cute, and funny one, who most guys overlook in pursuit of her "hot" friends. She became used to being everyone’s pal, until the day the young man she was attracted to, was drawn to her in return. He became her first great love, and first crushing heartbreak when she found him in bed with one of her closest friends.

To move forward, and to carry out her commitment to helping those in need, Trinity enlists in the Peace Corps, but not before returning to Kiawah for one last memorable summer. She just never imagined it would be so unforgettable.

Callahan doesn’t want to get close to anyone—let alone Trinity. He finds her perkiness insufferable and her attempts to entice a smile distracting. After all, he’s in Kiawah to leave all feelings behind. But when it comes to Trinity, who feels everything, it's hard not to feel something.

Neither expected to fall in love. And no one could have predicted how inseverable they’d become.

My Review:

Inseverable
Cecy Robson
STORY 5:
Robson’s Carolina Beach series debut, Inseverable is unforgettably poignant about loss, love and healing, set on a SC barrier island that screams summer fun. The unlikely
starring couple will pull at heartstrings,  have off the charts chemistry, playful, witty banter and some smokin hot love scenes. The group of inseparable friends together for one last summer before changing the world is so genuine it will stir reader’s own memories of that pivotal time in their own lives. The dialogue is witty, playful and somber when it comes to Callahan’s life-changing military service. It’s both Trinity and Callahan who are not only the starring couple but also the novels’s stand outs because they’re the real deal, spirited, giving, honest and honorable. This is a must read for any romance lover especially those who love wounded warrior tales.
NARRATION 5:
The narration of this novel is outstanding, Tara Langella is quickly becoming one of my favorite narrators, she’s a chameleon who has the innate ability to become every character she portrays, interpreting every emotion perfectly. She can be flirty, serious and loving, her laugh is infectious and her accents are spot on. And then there’s the low sexy voice of Lucas Webley who’s not only the perfect Callahan but handles all the male voices and manages to give every male character individuality. Personally the audible version is the best way to experience this novel, from the special effects of singing and guitar playing to the unique way that Tara narrates every word spoken by a female character and Lucas does every male.
SUMMARY:
What was supposed to be one last summer spent together with her best friends lifeguarding and partying at home on Kiawah Island before heading off to the Peace Corps, turns out to be so much more for Trinity Summers when she meets a brooding and broken ex-soldier who makes her feel more emotion than she ever has.
Inheriting his uncles quaint SC coastal island home and bartending a the local dive bar was perfect for Callahan Sawyer who after seeing and doing some pretty inhumane things serving in the special forces in Iraq just needs someplace quiet to lick his wounds. Then summer starts bringing in one particular smokin hot local-girl lifeguard that’s decided to make him her special project. Great just great.
What can possibly happen when she only has one summer and he’s a damaged man?
