Synopsis
Evie’s life is all work.
Until she invites Griffin to play!
Workaholic Evie McClaren will do anything to prevent the sale of her family’s hotel. Even fake a holiday romance! Wealthy charmer—and prospective buyer—Griffin James seems delighted to play along…providing steamy, realistic PDAs under the mistletoe. Wait. Was that last kiss real? All Evie wants for Christmas is the Hillcrest House Hotel. And all Griffin wants…is Evie by his side—for real.

Stacy's post:
First, I would like to thank Debbie at The Reading Frenzy for
inviting me and the rest of the Special Edition authors to participate in this
holiday event! Christmas has always been a special time for me—both personally
and as a writer. My very first Special Edition is a holiday book titled All She Wants for Christmas. My second
Special Edition, Once Upon a Wedding, was
actually made into a movie! And, although the book was set in June, the
production company added a Christmas theme for the movie Christmas Wedding Planner. And…my
latest Special Edition, Their Yuletide
Promise, was originally written with a Valentine’s Day theme,
but once the book was scheduled for October, my editor at Harlequin asked me to
revise the storyline with a holiday setting.
Some of my friends were kind enough to buy me Christmas presents
that tied into these books. My best friend gave me a silver heart ornament
inscribed with the title of All She
Wants for Christmas. Two other friends created a picture frame
ornament with the cover of the movie poster from Christmas Wedding Planner the year
the DVD came out. Who knows what I might receive this year for Their Yuletide Promise (hint,
hint…)?
Along with loving to write Christmas books, I also enjoy reading
them. Some of my past favorites from Special Edition are Christine
Rimmer’s Carter Bravo’s Christmas
Bride, Allison Leigh’s A
Child Under His Tree, Brenda Harlen’s The Maverick’s Midnight Proposal, Michelle
Major’s Sleigh Bells in Crimson,
and Caro Carson’s The Majors’ Holiday
Hideaway. And I could go on!
Even though it doesn’t get all that cold here in Arizona,
there’s still nothing better than curling up in front of the fireplace (even if
it is an electric one!) with a good book and reading by the glow of a Christmas
tree! What are some of your favorite holiday reads?
In 2008, that dream came true when she sold All She Wants for Christmas to Silhouette Special Edition.
When she is not lost in the land of make-believe, Stacy lives in Arizona with her two spoiled dogs.
Thanks Stacy
